SNAP\u00ae est un programme prim\u00e9, fond\u00e9 sur des preuves et sensible au genre, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par le Institut du d\u00e9veloppement de l’enfant. Une \u00e9quipe de scientifiques et de praticiens, dont Kenneth Goldberg, Kathryn Levene, Leena Augimeri, Elizabeth Leggett, Camille Hannays et le Dr Debra Pepler, d\u00e9veloppe ce programme.<\/p>\n
CDI qui est une organisation accr\u00e9dit\u00e9e de sant\u00e9 mentale pour les enfants \u00e0 Toronto, ON. Fonctionnant depuis 1985, en tant que programme d’intervention pour les gar\u00e7ons de moins de 12 ans en conflit avec la loi, le programme s’est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et a \u00e9volu\u00e9 pour devenir un mod\u00e8le internationalement reconnu d’enseignement aux enfants et \u00e0 leurs parents.<\/p>\n
Voici quelques \u00e9tapes cliniques franchies par le SNAP :<\/p>\n
1982 : Lancement du Camp Wimodausis<\/strong>, le premier camp de jour sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 de Toronto pour les enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 6 \u00e0 11 ans, dont les difficult\u00e9s sociales et comportementales les emp\u00eacheraient autrement de participer \u00e0 un camp de jour d’\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n
1996 : Lancement de SNAP Girls Connection<\/strong> – maintenant appel\u00e9 SNAP Girls – le tout premier programme soutenu, sp\u00e9cifique au sexe, destin\u00e9 aux filles ayant des probl\u00e8mes de comportements et \u00e0 leurs familles. Nous avons constat\u00e9 qu’il existait une lacune importante dans la programmation et la recherche pour aborder les facteurs uniques qui influencent l’agressivit\u00e9 des filles et nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 SNAP Girls pour combler cette lacune.<\/p>\n
1998 : Lancement de la liste d’\u00e9valuation pr\u00e9coce des risques pour les gar\u00e7ons (EARL-20B)<\/strong>. Ce cadre complet d’\u00e9valuation des risques psychosociaux se concentre sp\u00e9cifiquement sur les jeunes enfants ayant des probl\u00e8mes avec la loi. Les 20 questions du manuel aident les praticiens \u00e0 identifier les facteurs de risques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 un futur comportement antisocial chez les enfants.<\/p>\n
2001 : Lancement de la liste d’\u00e9valuation pr\u00e9coce des risques pour les filles (EARL-21G)<\/strong>. SNAP\u00ae, is an evidence based, cognitive behavioural therapy program that provides a framework for teaching children and their parents, effective emotional regulation, self-control and problem solving skills.
Our program utilizes both individual and group counselling for parents and their children (concurrently), once a week for a 13-week family education program.<\/p>\n
